Premium Italian Wine Tasting: An Introduction to the wines of Piedmont presented by Philip Cusimano (Limited Seating. BUY AND PRINT TICKETS NOW!! to reserve your seat.) – Piedmont is one of the world’s most important wine production zones. The wines are known for their quality and heralded for their uniqueness (as they cannot be replicated in any other region on earth). It is a fascinating place where tradition and innovation co-exist and are sometimes utilized together to produce delicious wines of great structure.

Join us in a “sit down” tasting of five of the region’s most renowned offerings, including both, a Barolo and a Barbaresco. Learn more about the wines! This entertaining, thirty minute seminar is a unique opportunity to sample great and storied wines, rarely are wines of this caliber offered to the public, in one sitting; examine and savor some of the world’s most famous wines. La Sagra del Vino (Mini Festival of Wine – Wine Sampling Event) – Italy is without question the wine capital of the world; the Italian peninsula and its adjoining islands produce more Vino than any other country, as well as being home to the greatest variety of grape types.

Beviamo International, Houston’s leader in fine Italian wines, is pleased to offer a “Tasting Tour of Italy”. This is a special opportunity to sample 12 wines (1oz. per wine), representing many of Italy’s most important regions. Taste the wines, get the story behind the label and speak to wine professionals. La Piccola Cucina – Festival Edition: An Educational children cooking class led by our Chef Tiziana Triolo. The little Chefs will enjoy making Arancine Siciliane (Saffron Rice Balls). No snack is as beloved in Sicily as these saffron-scented rice balls filled with ragù or with ham and mozzarella. – FREE event, limited seating

La Piccola Cucina – Festival Edition: An Educational children cooking class led by our Chef Tiziana Triolo. The little Chefs will enjoy making Agnolotti freschi alla Zucca (Butternut Squash Ravioli). A stuffed pasta recipe that’s perfect for fall season. – FREE event, limited seating

H-E-B Cooking Demonstration: Learn how to prepare Porchetta, one of Italy’s most Traditional dishes, in your own kitchen. Join Central Market Cooking School Manager, David Kiser, as he demonstrates how to make this feast manageable, utilizing a pork loin, stuffed with herbs and citrus then slow roasted to perfection. Buon Appetito! – FREE event

The little Chefs will enjoy making Crostatine alla Nutella e alla Marmellata (Italian Nutella and Jam Tart). Saint Arnold Cooking Demonstration: Learn how to prepare Italian dishes utilizing Saint Arnold Beer. Saint Arnold Brewing Company Executive Chef Ryan Savoie will demonstrate the preparation of Orecchiette with Italian sausage and Rapini. Delicious! – FREE event
